Interactive Flute Retreat Session Topics with PROJECT Trio*
Sessions, or classes, will focus on Rhythm, Improvisation, Ensemble, and Performance Techniques. Sessions will reinforce all of the basics including scales, sound, pulse, and subdivisions and introduce new techniques. Through a series of musical exercises and games, participants will explore the possibilities of creativity and gain confidence in their performance abilities.
Sustainability - Using entrepreneurship and “soloprenuer” skills to increase longevity in your music career and ensembles
Contemporary Techniques - beatboxing, improvisation, utilizing modern technology to create your unique style of music.
Storytelling - learn how to engage with audiences and learn tools to become your own storyteller.
Collaboration - explore collaboration skills with schools, orchestras, flute choirs, modern ensembles, communities and more.
Musical Growth - Stay true to yourself while growing your musical style.
Music Teachers! Learn out of the box techniques to take back to your studio and classrooms
Opportunities to perform for Project Trio and get valuable feedback.

YOUTH DAY! Spend the morning with Melissa Grey followed by an afternoon learning even more with PROJECT Trio as the Interactive Flute Retreat begins. YOUTH DAY is open to musicians 17 and younger. Lunch and a light dinner included in cost.

Roots Yoga has been with us since the beginning. Yoga sessions are tailored to the retreat and the needs of attendees.
